Museum Of Flight Luncheon

What a wonderful luncheon at the Museum of Flight for the 200+ FA's that attended. Karen Anderson and Cheryl Grimm and all those that helped in putting this luncheon together deserve a standing ovation!!!!! Not only did we see the exhibit Peggy Verger help put together of FA uniforms, but a bunch of FA's were there in some of our old uniforms that brought back great memories. Remembering how good we looked (or not).
It was so good to see so many of you - because of the lg group it's impossible to say hi to everyone or even have any lengthy conversation but the hugs feel wonderful. I'll have a smile on my face for days thinking of seeing and talking to those I got to and such a warm glow inside knowing I'm a part of such a great group. Nothing compares to what we have shared with each other for the past 40 yrs or so. Not too many people have had the experiences we have had with each other - not to mention the places we did them in. And what's so wonderful is we're still having them.
For those in the Seattle area, the Museum of Flight is FREE this Sat., May 17th, for any active or retired FA. You need only wear a pair of wings to get in. At 2 PM there is a talk of somekind and then at about 3PM they want to take a group pic outside of all the FA's present. So if you find your calendar empty come on to the museum.
For some personal news I just went back to PA to celebrate my grandson's 1st b'day and then swung by DEN to visit Larry Pershing in his new and gorgeous home. We played lots of cards and ate the wonderful food Larry always prepares. A very good time. Next wk I'm going down to PHX to visit my cruising roommate, Terri Coyne, and then we're going over to Shari Pitt's to play cards in (as they promised me) air
conditioned homes and cars. Cathie Bieri will also be joining us.
You can also mark your calendar's for Sept 3rd and 4th on Whidbey Island. Thurs the 3rd is the spagetti feed this yr being held at Jo Ann Coulter's home right on the water, beautiful place. Then the picnic the following day at the same location as last yr, the Villa Luna.
Again it was wonderful to see so many of you and look forward to seeing you again real soon
Bye for now Jane
