CONNIE KELLY

Dear Friends,

Our fellow flight attendant, Connie Kelly, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
Connie found the lump herself, by doing a self-breast exam. The lump would not have shown up
on a mammogram as of yet.

Connie gave me her permission to post her news on our Seabuds Blog and she wants all of you to know the
importance of doing a self exam.

With love and support from her family and friends who pray for her every day, Connie is doing great.

To follow Connie's progress, one can log onto http://www.carepages.com which is through the
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. The site will have you choose a member name and password to
be able to register and subsequently log on to Connie's care page.
Her page contains recent photos of Connie, her daughter and son-in-law, and grandchildren.
I just received the latest message from the site which told me Connie had a recent treatment of chemo
on Thursday and she feels great. She will not lose her hair or be sick from the treatment. She does
have to make sure she follows a diet and eats regularly so the medicine won't make her nauseous.

Connie welcomes all your prayers and well-wishes for her fight against this disease.
She told me her church and fellow church friends and her faith in God help her every day and
every step of the way.

Please Pray for Connie and check out the carepages website. Connie's e-mail address is
