We just received some sad news from a DCASW Flight Attendant that retired UAL Flight Attendant, Rachel Woodings, has been diagnosed with 4th stage colon cancer. She has also had MS for some time. For those of you who flew with her and for those of you who just heard about her you know she is a "Legend in Her Own Time"... someone to admire, respect, and someone who many wished they had the nerve to be.Whether you know/knew her or not she would love to receive cards of encouragement and humor from fellow Flight Attendants, former stewardesses, Pilots, and CSRs. Please take a moment to send her a card and make her days happy ones! Her antics made many of us smile so let us return the favor. She has eternal hope and is very up emotionally.
