Just a Msg

I wanted to send out a word about what a great time was had on Whidbey this yr. The spaghetti feed at Jo Ann Coulter's beautiful waterfront home was fabulous. The weather was perfect and the food was wonderful. JoAnn's guy, Bill, really did a great job feeding the troops. Thank you Bill!!  Next year Heike with the help of Barb Bennett, will be hosting the feed again. We had lot of new comers for the feast and it was so very good to see the new faces. This email is also a test for the new folks on the list. Hope you're getting it!!

The picnic at Villa Luna was wonderful. More new faces and lots of "old" ones were there for the day. Again the weather was perfect and the food was to die for. You can always count on FA's to have great eats.  I'd like to thank all of you who came to the functions and for your contributions to making it a great time. It's always great to see you and catch up. We also had the opportunity to do some great shopping - you can sure tell what is really missed in retirement!!

Also wanted to share that this wknd Jeannie McColman is doing the 3 day Susan G Komen walk, good luck Jeannie and I hope you don't get any blisters.  You Go Girl.

Did the Puyallup Fair with Terri Coyne on Monday and ran into Gail Feiss and her husband Norm, always good to see someone you know, and saw Annie Greig's needlepoint she got a 3rd place on - it was beautiful Annie!!  Terri and I made ourselves sick on the rides but an elephant ear helped get over that. She's gone back to PHX now so I'm just catching up on yard and housework I didn't do for the past 4 wks.

Norma Weathersby became a US Citizen last wk  - welcome to the US Norma!!!!

Hope all is well with all of you, we're having a beautiful Sept here in the NW. Take care everyone     Jane
